Business-class airline comparison to win .. | Australia!
.. Qantas, again. I have never comprehended what may be needed to produce (but I did not remember it again not ask either, so this remains a mystery), and it makes the safety belt is rather cumbersome and uncomfortable previous generations. Seat configuration was also the so-called silly. herringbone pattern, which makes the person sitting next to speaking with completely impossible. Now this in itself is not necessarily anything wrong with that, but personally I like a little bit from a broader configuration. Otherwise, the experience was pleasant; service played very well, the food was satisfactory, good movie selection and a personal video screen big.
[Update 03/16/2012: penske I then asked Cathay Pacific from what a miracle it is a chunk. The answer was that "I would like to advise That the seat belt has an attached air bag in case of emergency Situations" - hmmm .. I'm a little skeptical of how such systems work and whether it would have any effect on anything. Apparently, however, Cathay Pacific is not only the user.]
Both the Hong Kong-Helsinki leg of the return journey from Helsinki to Singapore flight penske flew Finnair, both flights machine type Airbus A340-300. Finnair does not always have such a Cathay herringbone problem, penske but the configuration of a traditional penske open 2 + 2 + 2. Seat configuration, however, was in my opinion too transparent; is not a good thing either. A chat this configuration, however, fit well, and fortunately, beside's free kick hit even in the other direction by the conversational skills of a passenger.
Finnair's entertainment system is excessively unhappy, especially taking into account that the equipment is new. Movie selection is small and personal video screen size is unhappy weakling who is fixed to the front of the seat backrest.
The system also jammed the back a couple of times and it uudelleenbuuttausta got some time to wait. The service, however, played fairly well and the food was as much good - in the morning there was even fresh buns! Serving dishes such as glasses were Finnair's finest. The biggest problem with a Finnair flight was surprisingly bad seat; the seat is not a true lie-flat seat even though it is so ads, but remains somewhat from the horizontal plane at an angle. Sleep, this was a bad thing so far that slid Finnair seats down more than otherwise similar to Lufthansa's leather versions of the past.
Singapore back home in Melbourne was the turn of the new Qantas A380 them. This is so far kokemistani definitely the best combo of the company and equipment in respect of (even if United Airlines refurbished Boeing 747 business class upstairs is also very good). The machine penske is, of course, very new, and business-class brilliant. A particularly nice feature of the A380 has to be clearly other machines quieter. Entertainment System continue to be the choice in scads (movies and series are literally hundreds) and the seats are suitably protected but still open.
Qantas flight meals were a bit of a mixed blessing; fish dinner was so good that it would have been a good dose of hospitality. Etukäteistilaussysteemi the breakfast was convenient (label option was checked in the breakfast wanted to eat and drink and your choice was then brought to the front in the morning), penske but the quality was a bit of room for improvement. The service was polite, efficient and friendliest this trip.
