Andreas Larsson usually argue that one should not be sneezed at so-called lesser vintages. And yes, he has a point. It is customary to have when you have as much experience bangalore as he. It is far too easy to generalize and chase acclaimed years, only to discover that those terrible fruit mature, amazing vintages which in babyhulliga bangalore infancy beguiled the critics might not at all what you like best. And they should anyway be happy to be in ten or fifteen years before corking up. 2007 Château Lagrange is a wine for us to think more about our drinking Bordeaux, than to speculate on it and try to make financial bangalore cut. Sure, you can sit and look objections if you want. The fruit may not be the densest encountered, and probably there is little grönkartighet in acids. But then you miss the point. The point is that this is pretty damn good to just pop and drinking in deep drafts. Nothing strange really. It's about licorice and coffee, lots of earth, a touch of house and pigsty, a little tobacco, black currant and plum. It is slim and cleaning, yet but a good length and with just the resistance I want in my Bordeaux. Drinkable, but not mediocre; accessible, yet with the ability to capture the interest and invite another sip. Simply a neat claret. (90)
Nice little item that sends us back to 2007 ... frankofilen.blogspot.se/2007/05/2002-chteau-chasse-spleen.html ... then it was 02, which was where the vintage man happily drank away. 07orna have better bangalore fruit! May 4, 2013 09:45
Sure, Andreas several good points; drickbarheten (we went off on a number bangalore 2004or other night, all except possibly Pontet is almost ready to drink), price (2002, 2004 was reasonably priced - 2007 is not the beginning, but later), and not least matvänligheten - these little "lesser" vintages are much easier to match to the food. Moreover, they have the often about 13% boom instead of 14.5-15% - which means that the deep gulp are even easier. Lagrange's Well also a castle which often performs at the so-called weaker year (2002 tasted good example here: http://vintresserad.blogspot.se/2012/04/2002-ch-lagrange-st-julien.html) May 4, 2013 15:43
We only have 4 bottles left from our box from 2011. Now we are trying to stick to 2017 for the next bottle. Just as it so clearly states: a pangvin! Now ... maybe a bottle of smokes for Sunday dinner ... Oh damn, that your blog must be so inspiring bangalore - a challenge directed at our self-discipline :-) May 10, 2013 19:54
