This wine is aerated not then we're not sure how it would do it. The scent is great and totally available at the opening. Very ripe with lots of gunpowder, earth, stable and leather, bordering on overripe to me. There are some fruit left but it is the developed krutiga aromas take over. Very interesting house plans and fun wine to drink, but I think it has started to tip over a bit. Very classic in its style. The taste still has some fruit, it does not feel completely dehydrated. Much tobacco, wood, dark fruit. Fun wine even if it is a little tired. It lifts actually after a couple of hours and stick together a little better.
Fun reading! We drank Lagrange -94 for just under a year ago and the experience seems to be quite similar to what you describe. We also liked that the expiration date had passed, but it was still an interesting test pigs. The scent actually evolved positively during the evening but in the mouth it collapsed completely.
