After (yet) a intense autumn week with a lot of work and a very nice birthday party at the castle of Södermanland (thanks to J & P!), This is a classic Sunday dinner with meat (roast beef), potatoes (in the oven) and cream sauce (a little cream and most fund, wine, onion, celery and thyme). Now, the wily reader figure out that there'sa classic iproperty wine, specifically 2004 Ch Lagrange, Saint-Julien. For once we are out of time with the carafe, but always fun with a first taste too. It's cold, slim and pretty bland. An hour in the decanter gives metamorphosis. Developmentally feels this 2004a little more "backwards" than tex Branaire-Ducru, and fruit and tannins are a little tighter. Branaire is perhaps a little more aromatic and elegant.
